How to Use This Worksheet

Students write all four related equations for each fact family triangle. The 5-to-10 range focuses on number combinations that students often need extra practice with, making this a targeted fluency builder.

In the Classroom

Ideal for students who have mastered facts within 5 and need focused practice on the 5-to-10 range before moving to within 20. Use during fact fluency practice time or as homework.

At Home

Focus on one triangle at a time. Have your child say each equation aloud before writing it. This verbalization helps cement the relationships between the numbers.

Tips for Success

  • Use this after students have mastered the "Within 5" version
  • Encourage speed as students gain confidence
  • Point out doubles facts that appear (e.g., 5 + 5 = 10)
  • Use the answer key for self-checking
